About you

What Form 7004 does

Provides an automatic six-month extension on your federal corporate tax return deadline. The original due date and extended deadline depend on your tax year. It does not extend the deadline to pay tax owed.

What it costs

$50 for tax-only clients. Free for active annual bookkeeping clients.

What you'll need

Have your legal business name, complete mailing address, EIN, tax year dates, and estimated tax liability or balance due ready. Enter $0 if no balance is expected.

What happens next

Once you complete this step, we’ll submit Form 7004 directly to the IRS and email you official confirmation. Your extended deadline is six months after the original due date.
